I was cutting out foam pieces with craft scissors for about two hours the other day, and ever since then, my thumb has been stiff, tingly, and occasionally numb. It feels like I did something to it, but I have no idea what it could be.

You probably pinched a nerve. Give it a few days, and if you don't have normal feeling back, consult a doctor.

the blood flow could be cut off a bit for some reason. or it could be from holding the scissor too long. just wait a bit and it should let up. if its longer than a week or so, maybe go to ur doctor.

You may have damaged a nerve. Sometimes it will get better on its own, but if the problem persists for more than a couple of days, i'd go to the doctor and have it checked out.

It sounds like you did some temporary damage to a nerve. It should pass overnight.

You pinced the nerve, it takes afew days to heal. all that tingling is because its healing. I have had that happen to me
