ask and you will know not ...the way that you are gay is not in question ...for the answer is not in the mind but in the heart...now go seek and your heart shall follow, into the forests and meditate for 7days, then hence forth climb the mountains of rock only retreat if the answer fails you.

Dude its just because you are, there is no answer just go with what you feel in your heart and you will be happy and ignore all those that try to bring you down and that goes for all the people who are told they cant be who they are, gay or straight-be happy with you.

THAT'S THE WAY YOU ARE.How do you knwo. How old are you? Have you been with anyone yet? Have you talked to anyone at the gay center yet? Have you called PFLAG yet? I came out at 27 after I had been married for a couple of years. I knew something was wrong with the relationship -- just not what. After I had my first lesbian experience, I went to the gay center and spent an hour or so talking to a young man there who seemed to content with his gay life, that I never felt sorry for myself or questioned it again. Go talk to someone in person. My best to you.

There's no answer to such a question, just like there's no answer to why are you alive. In the first place, maybe you know you're gay, or maybe you're just going through a period of confusion, which happens to a lot of young people (I have no idea how old you are, but I'm guessing you're young). The point is not "why" but how you are going to live your life. I beg you, for your own good, don't focus on "why"!

According to the Bible everyone is a sinners. Being gay or lesbian is a form of sin. God considers it adultery, because being gay, or lesbian is not what he intended. If you are interested about what the bible says about gay, or adultery. You should get this book called Every mans bible, by Steve Arterburn, or "What does the Bible say about..." by Brian Ridofi. Those books are very helpful books on explaning your question.

I am a psychology student and there has been medical research done that proves statement "you are born that way" is true. In the brain there is something that differs from the male and female (I unfortunately cannot remember the term for it but it can be identified by doctors). There was a homosexual male who's brain was dissected and the doctors found that female function within his brain. So that could be your answer.

If your serious, then, obviously, you know enough to know your gay, so you know your attracted to guys, and thats what you feel inside! But thats just it, you are attracted to guys, your gay, so what is there to be confused about?

You are homosexual (if you truly are) because god made you that way. He knew you before you where born and he knew your life's course. He made you homosexual so that you would be able to be a strong person having been persecuted just for loving your fellow man.
