If one more person lists Green Day as a superior for something, I might have to strangle someone.
I'm partial to:
Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane)
Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac)
Glenn Danzig (The Misfits and Danzig)
Brandon Boyd (Incubus)
Kurt Cobain
Jim Morrison
Robert Smith
Though, I think I must yield all of those (except Slick) to Freddie Mercury. He truly is a legend and irreplaceable.

Beatles, of course. McCartney. A close second in my book is Jim Morrison of The Doors.
