Personally, I find more in common with latinos than our asian neighbors. We definitely 'groove' like latinos, not to mention our language, religion, and customs.

I'm Filipino and I consider myself Asian. Yes, perhaps the Spaniards did invade the Phillippines but we also have been influenced by other cultures such as the Chinese, Japanese and even American. I feel your confusion though.

I would think Asian. All the Filipinos I know consider themselves Asian.

Asians. Philippine history says the earliest people in the Philippines were Indonesians and Malay. The Hispanic influence came much later.

Filipino people are Asian with Hispanic background, they are born in Asia, Hispanic are migrant influences
