Herbalife has an excellent product. But it is not cutting edge anymore. When you are looking for a business, you have to consider if they have gone through their hyper-growth stage. Once that has happened, the big money has been earned and the market becomes a little slimmer for those starting out. I was affiliated with herbalife many years ago and large profits were being made. Now I would be leary.
That ship has sailed so to speak.
A good question for your enroller would be to ask how much people are earning after 6 months to a year. That will tell you what the hard workers are earning, and you can decide if it's for you.
Another thing to consider is whether or not the product revs you up? Is it something that's got the fire going in your belly and you can't wait to share it with everyone?
If you have any doubts, you will have a tough time marketing it.
I was with a health and wellness company for many years, I thought the products were very good....but the business just wasn't paying the bills.
Then I was introduced to a company that has only one product that is spreading like wildfire. I saw immediate results with this and I got so excited I started sharing it with everyone....I especially share it with heavy hitters from other MLM companies and we are growing every day. I have helped so many people with a variety of health issues and feel great rewards from that.
When you get this excited about a product you can't help but be successful with it.
This company is just coming into hyper-growth and has been featured on Oprah, Larry King, CNN today and Letterman..so it's about to explode!

Of course it would be a great idea as long as your market clients would be very close. Like near a spa/acupunture/chiro/nutrition store. Do your homework and see where the closet herbal store is to you and go visit the place and check out the prices, there marketing and advertising and see how long they have been around for. Good luck I say go for it.

I think a good business to enter is usually one that has growing prospects and an expanding amrket segment.
Given the awareness for herbal and natural goods and the backlash against unhealthy habits this might be a good market for you to enter.

Do your homework and good luck!
