It's okay if you plan on being divorced. Do the research, the majority of people that marry that young get divorced after just 2 years. At that age, you do a lot of growing. Your preferences change..I dated a guy I thought I was going to marry. We were together from age 15-18 and now I look back and I think WHAT WAS I THINKING?!? The best things in life are worth waiting for. If this person truly loves you, they'll wait for you.

13 no because you are still a child/ teenager that hasn't finished school.also because you need to become responsable. 16 years of age, maybe if both sides of the two getting married ok it. but since you will be in school yet, dont have kids till you get out, also if you have noticed many young people that get married after being together for 1 year usually end up in a divorce.. think about it first.

It is okay but I will certainly say it is not advisable cause in marriage, there are a lot of factors to be taken into consideration.. first is monetary factor.. will there be sufficient to support both yourself and your wife along with the future children of yours..

second factor is maturity.. how mature can one be at a young age to handle big responsibilities and challenges that may come upon him in times to come.. will he back out when he found out that he can't take it all.. wouldnt that be too late already..

there are so many other factors to take note of.. others will be your immediate family.. what are their thoughts on this.. will they support it... how bout your relatives.. and friends.. will they start making stories and rumours once you got married.. imagine all the stress that you may be put into..

whatever you decision is, i wish you all the best.. the decision is in your hands...

cheers... (",)

Of course its okay! Its just a way of saying to someone that you want to be with them for the rest of your life. And whoever said you have to get married right away! I've personally have been enaged for 1 year, but I've know others that have been enaged for up to 5 years! Don't let other people tell you how to live your life! Its up to you. And nobody can change that. Just listen to what your heart is telling you and you will do just fine.

No, To much growing mentally and physically in the years to come. I would consider it selfish and taking advantage of someone to become engaged at such an early age. Someone would eventually resent the other for the whole situation.

As a mom, I say no it is not ok. Someone at that age has not even begun to live their own life, let alone share a life with another. Be yourself first then when college is over, then share your life with that special someone!

No it is not. That is not realistic. It may sound flatter ring but really enjoy your youth without thinking about a mature adult commitment. You have so many things to do yet and people to meet and know.
