A "metrosexual" is a straight "material guy" - the guy that gets manicures and $100 haircuts... pays tons on clothes and clings to the "prep" appearance. Watches, expensive cars, and exfoliates his skin. (maybe even waxes some parts). It's a man who's still quite heterosexual-- but is not rugged or tough at all.

Are you thinking of metrosexual? If you are, that is a slang word for straight guys who dress really snazzy and keep their hair really neat and sort of act like you would think a stereotypical gay man would act.
