It seems that everytime we fall in love with a man and they hurt us and leave, or just hurt us and stay, we allow it to change us... The pain shows in our face and they are off doing Lord knows what, not even careing while we are devastated and holding onto memories of the man who ultimately broke his promise! Are there ANY good men out there? Godly, wonderful, polite, NON CHEATERS NON LIARS? Commited to loving one woman?? Anywhere?? Please convince me that you guys exist!

Another question I recently put on here was deleted and to that I need to add to it. I was not husband shopping. I was mearly encouraging men of Christian faith who are devoted to one God and one woman and family to stay in their faith and remain strong.

I don't know why women change for men, or men change for women. If the person you are with doesn't dig you for who you are, then you are not a good match for each other.
There are TONS of great guys and gals out there...don't spend too much time fretting over the past that you allow the future to pass you buy. Get to a place in life where you love you...you are happy as a single, and life is grand...THEN you'll be in the best place to be a good partner to someone else...
...but remember, life can be fabulous as a single too, so don't put too much weight on the whole "I need a partner" issue...it's not true, and it causes people to settle...thus, the cycle of break up beings again...

Here is a question for you - why do you continue to pick men that lie to you and cheat on you? There are a bunch of good guys out there, obviously you are not attracted to them when you come across them. So many women looking for the 'bad boy' then complain when they actually are bad boys.
BTW... the saying is that women marry a man hoping to change him and men marry a woman hoping she won't change. I think that is true.

I exist except for the Godly part. I'm not a religious person but I know right from wrong and I know what heart ache feels like so I wouldn't put on someone else the things I wouldn't want to feel myself.

we are around. we're not always a woman's first choice, because we don't all have perfect looks, and swollen bank accounts. I'm not being mean, that's just the way it is, the average guy doesn't turn your head or make you drool at the site of him, so he gets overlooked in our society. the less than perfect looking guy is used to being last in women's eyes so when he gets one that wants him, he tends to really appreciate her in an above average way. so maybe in the future talk to one of those guys you might be surprised. ...er...um...guys are guys though so there are some that are just as_holes and cant commit to a solid relationship, chin up looking is half the fun ;->

Good question I would like to know why the men don't change. I think once you meet the right one you don't change but your relationship does grow over time and you might change with age but not "for" your husband

Any relationship requires compromise. However if one has to make all and significant changes then it is not a healthy relationship. Look to develop a partnership with each giving something (change) to help the relationship prosper.

I don't allow anyone to change me...I change me! Not all men are like that....if you do not like what you are attracting, look at what is broken inside you and fix it. The majority of the time the one we attract are mirrors of ourselves, or a "punishment' for something we feel needs to be punished. Empower yourself as a woman, control your own destiny and stop attracting those who will abuse you.
