i was told by many people including a tattoo artist that if you get the name of your partner tattooed on your body that you will split up.they said that something about it is weird .what is your opinion?have you ever heard of this?thank you

dont waste your time with superstitions, a lot of people break up and a lot of people divorce, its a fact of life.

My name is tattooed on at least 2 of my ex-boyfriends - I wonder how their wives feel about that. Be creative - hide your partners initials or birthdate or zodiac sign or something in a tattoo. My friend has an anniversary date in the shell of a turtle. It is even more personal that way since it is like a secret only the two of you share.

I take it your married, now if you really love them and have been married a long time, and love them very, very, very, very much and you think there is no way you could ever split up then ya do it, but think if somthing goes wrong your going to go through a lot of pain getting the tattoo taken off, so think befor you do!!!

yes Ive heard about that and am a proven theorywell as far as me and like a zillion of my peeps are concerned, I think prolly coincidence but very very weird. Had my bf initials put in broke up bout yr later. Had my hubby's name done , YEP u guessed it split up bout 18 months after. WEIRD s*** I swear it. Want a tat get something that maybe signifies them an angel or rose or something , try that an be safe LOL

I know alot of people that's happened to. But I really think they would have split up despite the tattoo. I have 4 of them and thank God I never got any names put on me, since I'm on my 3rd divorce. lol

They probably would've split up with or without a tattoo. You do hear a lot of storied, though, of people whose relationships broke up and they're left with a tattoo they don't want and don't know how to get rid of.

I think that it is their way of trying to persuade you not to do it. I am sure you have heard that relationships come and go but a tatoo is forever. I can't imagine having some ex girlfriend's name tattooed on my arm, a constant reminder of something i just want to forget about.

I don't agree with that..I have a mans name tattooed on me..although I did it after we broke up to remind myself of something...at times tatooing a persons name can cause regret afterwards, if you do break up...

Yes yur going to git split cause my boyfrend tooked a knife and cut his chest in my name and then rubbed a pencil led in it. It made a tattoo on him and then we broked up in jist a few days when he cheeted on me.

i dont think it would make u split up..just make sure that your goin to be together for a long long time because if you split up then you have his or her name branded on you n it costs alot and hurts to get it removed
