well...since that's the best good that can happen to you is GOD all i can say is good luck....
12 step programs don't believe in God either but call Him a higher power (to encompass all religious beliefs) but still recognize a force for good. Anyway, the program also suggests a gratitude list for every time you're down....start counting your blessings and writing them down...for example today I got to spend the whole day with my kids (i work and i have the week off) we went to the library, karate class and i made homemade meals...it might not sound like much but it made me happy and thankful for all that i do have...not the icky divorce mess and bills mounting...it's all in the attitude. PS God has brought a lot of good into my life.....and protection.....sorry, had to mention it.

You say nothing good has happened to you but have you taken a look around? How many people have it worse than you? You obviously have the means to a computer, so you must have a home. Many people don't. I'm not trying to lecture but just trying to get you to see that just because you don't win the lottery or win first prize, it doesn't mean that nothing good is happening in your life. I'm sure you have a lot of positive things going on in your life. Focus on those and it will be easier to see the many other good things that will come your way. Good things come to those who wait....

When you make it happen. There are no "turns". Your life is in your own hands. Have you been sitting around waiting for something good to happen? Has it? No. So, guess what? Sitting around waiting dosn't help. "You" have to make it happen. But also be thankful for what you do have. There are alot of people in the world that dosn't have a tenth of what you have. Cheer up and do something good for someone else. You'll be very suprised at how good it feels to help someone. Try it. It couldn't hurt.

Why are you so defensive about God?
I am not here to try and convince you of anything. That's not my job. You come across as young and one thing I've noticed is that god things happen to people who work towards it. Are you involved in anything that end up in your benefit? If not, get off yuo butt and do something! And to your question "When will something good happen to me?" How should I know? I'm in the same boat as you are, clueless.

Okay I wont try. I believe in God and I feel like you do sometimes about good things happening to everyone else but me. I think sometimes we are in control of our destiny. Go out there and get it girl it is waiting on you. You have to make it happen in some cases I think.

be thankful for what you have, appreciate the fact that you have not only the basics, but you are using a computer and not everyone has one. live your life doing the things you want to do & don't wait to win the lottery like so many people do. life is short and precious.

Good things very rarely just happen. You usually have to work quite hard at it.
