Would the world be a better place if there were ever no mirrors invented?
today it's all about having bleach white teeth,silky smooth hair and skin,green eyes,skinny figures,and MONEY.the world is based on so much vanity.If mirrors were not created would these dilemmas be eliminated?

I see your point. But without mirrors we wouldnt have lasers, telescopes or rearview mirrors on vehicles. Television media, in my opinion is the biggest reason for vanity and stereotyping.

No, because humans have been obsessed with their reflections since they saw them in water. We would still be obsessed with those things because we could still see our reflections, even without mirrors.
A smooth pool of water gives as good of a reflection as a mirror in terms of clarity. The color may be different, but you can still see if you have a zit.

maybe. even if there were no mirrors, people could look in water and you know, most of the image stuff comes from men's responses. so probably no.

First of all you wouldn't see your reflection so how would you know if any blemishes were there? Then if your teeth had like spinach in them you wouldn't know it was there.

uh maybe but then again other people would tell you how you look. maybe it would be even more like today bc people want to impress others more than they would want to impress themselves bc they can't see themselves.
or just look in the water....

good question i wish the miror where never invented i try so hard to saty pretty and i cant focus on my school work I hate it but i love being pretty
