Blue Man Group is less fancy - you could wear jeans, I did. To The Producers, RENT and Wicked I dressed up a bit more...skirt, nice pants...

People don't dress up for shows anymore. Jeans and sandals are fine, but you'll want to dress for the heat, so something light weight would be good. The O theater was a little chilly when I was there in May, so maybe take a light sweater or shawl. I've seen people in shorts and tee shirts at shows like Celine Dion and LeReve. Just wear what you feel comfortable in ... if you want to dress up, go ahead and do it. There is a wide variety of people and clothing in Las Vegas.

Dressy top, nice jeans, sandals w/heels should be okay for both.

Except for expensive restaurants and clubs, people hardly ever dress up in Vegas, so you won't be underdressed. Even for big shows, this won't be a problem.
