I would suggest taking a First Response 4 days before your missed period. That pregnancy test can detect the lowest amount of HCG (the pregnancy hormone) in a womans body. If you get a negitive wait a few days and retest, this is because the HCG levels double every 48 hours resulting in a positive pregnancy test.

Im going through the same thing but I am waiting on my period to come for the ultimate deal breaker....its due in 5 days or less. I took a test 2 days ago b/c i was scared i was pregnant but it was negative. Then i realized i may have taken it too early & even then HPT aren't 100% accurate taken anywhere from 2-4 days before your missed period. So im just waiting around to find out also...my boobs are tender and feel heavy & i felt sick while eating today. I hope both of our results turn out the way we want. If u've already missed your period, and the test still said (-), go see a doctor.

buy a test that says" take 5 days sooner" both of my babies were negatives. the reason could be that you are a late ovulator and you body has not produced enough hcg to turn the test positive(that was my problem), also take the test apart and hold the strip against the light and i bet you see a very faint line

Wait a few more days (assuming your period is late) and if it doesn't come then retest in a week. It is ok to miss a period once in awhile though (not pregnant) because your cycle is effected by your life, your stress, your diet etc.

If you get any good advice, please share because I'm in the same boat. What I am doing is waiting it out for a couple more weeks. Then I will take another test.

you could go to a doctor and hae another test done, but they use the same exact tests. assuming you did everything correctly and it's not too early you are most likely not preggos.
