If you are having a lot of problems getting a date then you could try online dating but I would try looking for a date in real life first.

umm I don't think so. I kno of people who tried and it turned out horribly. Of course there are time when it actually did work out fine but the thing about the internet is that it lacks the real communication. U never really kno who the person says who they are. That way its hard to build a relationship.
If u think you really want to try, u can try sites like ematch.com and stuff like those. At least they somewhat weed out the freaks... haha

Well, ultimately, that's your call. I'm inclined to say it's a bad idea because I did the online thing once and it did not work out well. He wasn't a bad person, it was just that once we were together in person we weren't as compatible as we thought we'd be. Online is different than in person.

If you do meet someone online and meet them in real life, make sure to meet them in a public place, not like at your house or something. Go out and meet at a restaurant or something. You'd probably be fine. Just keep in mind that sometimes people lie online, and be prepared for that.

Good luck!

In this day and time, I say NO! You may end up with a serial killer, mental patient, escaped convict . . . you never know.

If you decide to do it anyway, do a background check on him:

http://www.knowx.com - it's not expensive and well-worth the piece of mind. If he checks out great, if not . . . cancel the date!

I always recommend doing a background check on a guy no matter WHERE you meet him.

I did a check on a guy and found out he was using is dead father's Soc Sec number and had been arrested for stalking a former girlfriend. Nice guy!

I would say no. It is too easy for people to lie and misrepresent themselves. It's perfectly OK to be 18 and single!! Spend time with your friends and have fun. Ask them to introduce you to some guys, they will probably do a good job of finding someone who is at least nice...maybe their brothers have hot friends?? As silly as it sounds, and as much as I didn't believe it when I was 18, if you are really enjoying yourself and having fun, guys will be attracted to that. Trust me.

For people like me who believe in fate, I think that love should come as a natural thing. Searching online may seem like an easy way out to searching for the perfect one, but I believe in love at first sight, and all that stuff... Good luck!

I agree with the Yahoo personals. You may find something there. Or, try to just wait. He may find you.
