She is definitely suffering and will until she gets to counseling and learns ways to deal with this. This will affect the rest of her life--every aspect of it--until she gets help.

I know this from my own experience of being molested for at least 13 or 14 years as a kid. It has taken me a very long time to get to where I could deal with it, and it took a lot of counseling and hard work to get here.
