I digg the "Prime Country", but not the "Oldies" or the new stuff as a general rule. There are exceptions, though. Here's why: Frome the middle to the present, I like the sound, but the generally depressing or beer/drug-praising lyrics are what I don't like about the newer stuff.

I dig most of it unless it is that sad country music when they lose the crops or have to sell of the farm and the animals.

I love country music. It speaks to your soul. The lyrics are not full of curse words nor do they incite young adults to cause mayhem. It's comfortable and easy to listen to.
The one exception is that ghastly group called Dixie Chicks.
