im not sold on luongo being the goalie we need... he is untested in the playoffs, and we need a great playoff goalie... statistically he is okay, but reallywho knows how he will do after playing 70+ games.... that and i think we gave up too much for what we got... we could have kept auld, and not taken the 6th rounder and still had a deal... but no

Go Canucks Go

Actually, I'm a Flames fan...I'm thrilled we picked up Alex Tanguay!

As for the Canucks...Luongo was a nice pickup! Think they should have kept Alex Auld though...He was getting consistently better as the starter with Cloutier out...Probably better for the Team & for Todd Bertuzzi, himself, that he was traded to Florida.

Will be interesting who the Canucks will try to fill Bertuzzi's shoes (skates) with!

Ah, the Canucks. I rather enjoyed booing them for 3 straight periods when the scrubs came to Denver. Was also pretty funny to see Tuzzi whine when they threw that souvenir Rob Blake doll at him. I also enjoyed watching that lady in the Bertuzzi jersey having beer poured on her. The most satisfaction I received this season regarding Vancouver, was seeing them miss the playoffs.

Go Avs!

Big Fan!!! Can't believe they traded Auld, he had some pretty big skates to fill and I think he did well under the circumstances. A real shame. As for Bertuzzi, I still love him and will miss his #44. I'll still wear my Bertuzzi Canucks shirt any day, after all, we all make mistakes and expect people to accept our apologies and forgive!

I feel sorry for you. Go Leafs!!!!

Seriously though, good move getting Luongo. Has long as they can keep Jovanovski and Ohlund they should be tight on hte back end. The biggest question is Naslund and Morrison, they need to step it up again, especially with Bertuzzi gone, the grit of the line.

lmao in my opinion i pass to be spending my day lauighing at tomjc43. here I allegedly be afflicted by an "inflated ego and fake experience of conceitedness" it quite is exceedingly humorous, who's massaging their very own ego by employing spouting off opinion figuring that's significant and who isn't. Dude quite needs to get a carry close of what sportsmanship is all approximately. Ironic how if somebody from Vancouver spouts off that's 'self significant from infated egos' yet whilst all people else does it quite is a public provider fact. Narcissist a lot. i'm going to spend something of my day expressing admiration for San Jose in what grew to become right into a sterling attempt and for the obtrusive richly deserved win - kudos to them. next i'm going to discern the place to pass from here, often i might cheer on the team that beat us yet I constantly might desire to assist the domicile team first - gotta be Canadian. might desire to I cheer for the Sen's or purely circumvent the frenzy and leap on the arrival women human beings's coastline volleyball season bandwagon now. possibly attempt to be certain the place the Sedin's stay and pass egg their twin properties. Fookers...

1. no idea. 2, well, i hope it'll be a better year then this last one. i hope they learned anything from it and are gonna play better. not individually, but as a team, i think they could learn a bit from the swedes and the finns and from most small-town teams.
lets also hope they win the stanley cup next year ;)

If the Nucks can sign Luongo long term, then I'll be excited, but I get the vibe that he won't be here all that long.
