Being that i'm a i can't tell you from experience but my boyfriends always bends upward! But maybe that yours just bends differently it doesn't sound like a serious problem!!

not every erection points upward...thats the design of nature....

i dunno, i read that as a guy gets older, it will not be so close to the body (pointed upward) when he is erect but will be more like at a 90 degree angle from the body... hope this helps!
