(1) Many of the most funny and interesting Askers have been suspended or fear being suspended unjustly.
(2) Some of the best Users have gone on vacation or are taking a break from the total inappropriate direction that the site seems to be going.
(3) Some Users have left the site after spending months fighting a tide of what they have called “poor management.”
(4) A few Really Good and Funny Users have left on a quest for “Yumio’s Silver Bullet.” It is believed that if this is shot into the Yahoo! mainframe at midnight on October 31, 2006, that all of the poopy Questions and Answers will magically disappear from the Yahoo! Answers site.
(5) Most of the remaining Users are doing their typical “Snore Pie with Yawn Sauce” (as Red Fraggle would comment) routine.
(6) There is also a Google User group which is currently kidnapping Yahoo! Answer Users in an effort to find out what “Be the First to Find Out!” means.

i don’t think people especially older user know what they want…I mean I hear them saying there’s no one asking fun questions anymore and there no serious answers…can theses two things actually go together…I mean they keep reporting people who do dare to think outside the box and come up with some clever questions…whereas the boring questions aren’t getting any answers because they’ave been asked a million times and people who use to like such questions are not here anymore….as Richard pointed out…but I do think the answer is making more categories one where people can ask whatever they want and won’t get reported for it such a little section and the other side should be free of all theses dumb and stupid questions…not only that but yahoo should also come up with worse answers where when people give out dumb or stupid answers some points or something should be taken away….:)

ok, properly the following is going, i'm about to rattle some cages: once you talk about that it takes a minimum of three minutes to envision and answer optimal questions in Y!A, longer in case you positioned some concept into your ideas, component in interruptions, and the occasional bio spoil, that's more advantageous perfect than 4 hours an afternoon to understand an 80 question shrink. i'm wondering that you want yet another interest. Then there is the burnout component in contact with doing all and dissimilar difficulty too many cases for too lengthy.

1. Because the place has been taken over by Bush haters/lovers.
Many questions, which have nothing to do with Bush, have some silly comment about him.
2. If stupid questions get ZERO answers, the idiots might disappear back into their holes.
3. The points subtracted for asking a question should be increased to 20.

I am feeling the same thing. Like the others said before me, people on vacation, and people getting kicked off. But I also noticed last week that some people who usually ask questions fairly regularly aren't asking so many right now. About six or eight of my favorite questioners are either suspended or taking a break.

uggg..I know..and I have not helped at all! My funny bone is not working properly so I have not been much fun to be around lately..therefore i haven't been very active on here. If I can't make people laugh then its just not fun for me. Hopefully soon the tide will turn and me and the others taking a break will be back and better than ever :-)

After a while, it really does lose something.
I am on much less now.
But there are people I like (you are among them as you surely know) andenjoy reading what they are asking.
(I like the way your questions come themed in series, for instance the lesbian thing, the road trip. Is this question the start of a new series on Yahoo Answers, or on boredom? Or are you really beginning to lose it with Y!A in which case we might be seeing less of you. I'm missing you already.)
Take care.

I think maybe mojo had a birthday party and spilled a martini on his keyboard. And then over the weekend the Question bank was robbed again, so now we must depend on Schnebs humor to keep the place all smiley and sheit.

I thought I was the only one who thought this! Maybe we've all gotten burnt out. I know that I have been feeling uninspired. Without my hilarious questions, the site has less zing. For me it's the incredible heat that's slowing me down, among other things. What about you?
