Why do non-Caucasian men walk around holding their crotch?

I live in Savannah, GA which has a very high populace of non-Caucasians. So does my job, & they all do it! I don't see the tighty whities doing it.

Not just non caucasion....black men and those who wish they were. Yes, it is a very popular "pose" here as well. I dont think it is that they are holding their goods. It is that they are holding their pants up. They wear them so low that they have to keep them up somehow, and by holding their crotch, they can keep their pants from falling to their knees and maintaining a studly stance. It serves a function as well as fashion. Lol!!!!!

These stereotypes are always so funny. I grew up in a lower income urban area and ummm... I notice that not very many of them do this. You just tend to notice it when they do because you are looking for them to do it. I bet your next question is why do they sag their pants...

I'm dark-skinned, and I don't know why the other guys do it. The only time I grab my crotch, is after someone kicks me there. OUCH !!!
