I can't say that I agree with that analysis, and I'll tell you why. For me to say something to that effect, would mean that for some reason god's 'plan' made me more special than the other person who didn't live more than a few years on this earth, or the person who lived back in the dark ages, and endured torture, or ate dirt until they died, or a child that died in a plane crash.

No, I'm a rather humble person, in some ways. I will not believe that god put me here for a special purpose. If I 'did' believe (which I don't), I would say that it is up to each person, for whatever amount of time they're here, to decide what they 'will' do, and it probably wouldn't be just one thing.

Because we were meant do something to change this world.Change a person make them a certain way.You were put here for a reason, a good reason.Sometimes people let the devil get the best of them.And someone else comes along and takes there place.I was put on this earth to be a track star,im about to be in the olympics.Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am unique and I am here to fulfill a purpose in my niche. When my work here is done, I will be recalled to live in another sphere. The transition is called death; and the new assignment will be in eternity with God. Until then,I am here to use my abilities as an educator and writer etc. to brighten my corner of the world and fulfill my mission.

Apparently I was put here to be nurse maid. My mother was chronically ill. My first husband was a diabetic since age 8 and died after years of dialysis and a failed kidney transplant. My second hubbie had a massive stroke 3yrs ago. Now I take care of him, his alzheimer's afflicted 90 year old mother and my father who is crazy for reasons unknown. Oh yeah! We have a 15year old (self explanatory). I'm the only sane person in a nut house!!!

Depends in what you mean by here. Here on earth to enjoy life, to have good and bad experiences, and to learn from them, to appreciate the little things and to inhale the fresh air (not so because of pollution) but I think you get my point; I am here to love, to share and live as happy as one could be and to have and raise beautiful children who will be the link to a brighter future.

Here on Yahoo, because thanks to God I can still have access to the internet.

First, I absolutely LOVE the other answers already posted. I thought they were REALLY FUNNY!!

Now, to my answer:

I was put here to (a) save my wife from a terrible set of parents. We got married and I got her out of that awful house. (b) I was put here to adopt our wonderful son. If we had not pursued the adoption, he would have NEVER been adopted. (c) I was put here to save my wife's sister and her two children from her awful husband.

And I was put here to answer questions here, and at Allexperts, to help people in trouble, people confused, people with problems.

Not everyone can be Superman, but some of us can help "like" Superman.
