Bikers? (gangs led me to believe that anyone who drove a motorcycle was in a gang) Peeps who drove in vans (movies made me think that those were the peeps who kidnapped peeps) I saw a commercial bout someone not having their full arm or only one arm or something like that & I totally thought it was HILARIOUS. :$ :( (N) BOO to me to back when I was 5 !!! My Mom & Dad used to tell me, "That's not funny." I also used to be racist towards Black peeps but now I like Black guys ;) I'd really like to be in a multi-cultural rel. Back when M.J. was Black he was really popular. I got an M.J. doll for Christmas. My Dad asked me a Q & said, "Is it cuz he's Black?" I lied & said, "No." I didn't wanna admit the truth. Hmmm can't really seem to think of anything else.
So, to A my own Q, I'm more open to being friends w/ other races, I don't think that all bikers are in gangs lol & I DON'T think that it's funny to have 1 arm or whatever. That's just sad. I'm embarassed that I was like this @ age 5:$

Therefore I've DEF grown up. I went to a school that was maybe 85% white & 15% native. Oh yeah, & we had maybe 2 Chinese peeps who went to our school. I'm glad that I'm not like that anymore !!! I don't even know how I learned to grow out of it... I hope more peeps do !!! Btw, I'm now 26.

I feel the same way now about white people as I did when I was young. They took my family from our home in africa like 100 years ago and then expect us to work. Like we owe them something. Since we were taken here against our will we should be able to do whatever we want. It makes sense if you think about it. Social programs are a good start. Im glad I get a lot of stuff for free, but I deserve more. White people did do this to us.

it is just a question of who you meet and mix with may be at that age you had not meet any black people or people with disability's. I do not ever remember being racist though do think it is natural to be weary of those we see as diferant we have to over come those feelings. I have several disabled freinds but was never atracted to black people. I knew a few at school but did not form strong friend ships as an adult I have traveled to egypt and pakistan and fallen for black men but it was all lies on their part. but I do not blame theit colour for that.

not me, i was mean or bully to people i really don't like (still are, if they start the whole thing, or else I'm just ignore them, 'cuz that's better than starting argument) but never had that racism or prejudiced towards a certain group of people, and i think that's wrong 'cuz it's matter what they're character and attitudes are not the looks, color of skin, or clothing... (usually somehow i just know what that person is by looking at their eyes, and i think lot of people does)

I used to be racist towards Mexicans growing up because all I ever heard was how dirty they were and stuff, but now that I have gotten to know some of them I know that they are just trying to take care of their families like the rest of us. Even the illegal ones, they are only trying to save their families from being in poverty. Also I still have a hard time with Idian people because you don't know which ones you can trust and which ones are here to destroy our country

I think that all of us are guilty of being racist or prejudice at one time or another in our lives. A lot of people out grow it, but there are some that are to shallow or close minded to people that are "different."
Just look at the people who have issues with homosexuals. I say they're all human, whether they're gay, straight, black, white, mexican, asian, and so on...

When my black next-door-neighbor molested me, I was extremely paranoid of black men. I'm not now, in fact I have several friends who are black, and about half of them are male. It's been a real learning experience for me, and I'm much more open-minded now.

You were young then. You did not know any better. Look to the future, forget the past. NO ONE likes EVERYONE! That is just the way life is. I cannot stand stupid people. That is just the way I am.
