I have meet 2 guys. One that I dated for 3 years and then he fell off the face of the earth. The other I just must a few weeks ago. Not sure it will go any where. Maybe just friends. But I do say this be careful, some people are a little out there. If you are going to meet someone, meet for breakfast or lunch. Something not soo alone.

I have had good and bad experiences. The girls I met through yahoo personals have been good. You have to be smart when doing this and not take everything as real right away get to know her and you will know if she is honest or not. There is always a risk involved but not more than meeting someone at a bar, mall or wherever.

My Uncle met His new wife thru the Internet.(married now for 5 years)
My sister met her husband in the net also.(been married for 2 years now.
Everybody is different, It work for them. Is it worth giving it a break?

My cousin ran in to a guy that had more problems that she does! He spent a ton of money on her. Then stole her prescrption medication from her. She gave up, to much lying and B.S. She had to get a restraining order on him after she thought she got rid of him and he ended up stalking her! He had money and good looks so that isn't everything. He was just squirrel bait (nuts).
