This time of year it is warm to hot days, warm to cool nights. Casual for daytime and hanging out, but you may want to have some nicer clothes for some of the better dinner places and the shows. It is not a stresser, it is vacation. And if you go on the Maid of the Mist or Cave of the Winds, you will get wet, quite wet is also an option. You may email me for more specific recommendations as there are some things that are not to be missed.

If you are going in the winter, like January, pack as many clothes as possible to layer up! I went Jan 14-16 & liked to have froze to death! Your knees lock up soon as you step outside, its so cold b/c you are surrounded by what else, water! In the summer, Id wear regular summer clothes, take a jacket & some jeans perhaps for night time walking/driving.

Depends on the time of year, I went in December. If you go in winter, pack to wear 2 to 3 layers, it's too cold. I worl thermal underware, jeans, and sweatpants and was still cold.

If you're going anywhere near the falls, even on the roads beside them, bring items that won't shrivel up and die if they get wet. Other then that, it seems like a pretty basic destination. Sunscreen and such.
