an educational philosophy is a summary of how you teach. Your basic anchor point from which all your educational decisions come.
Example: "I believe all students have potential within them, and it is my job to activate it"
or
"I believe all students know nothing and the teacher must fill their heads with knowledge"

The School administrator takes the MISSION STATEMENT of the school and makes sure the teachers implement it in the classroom.

a school adminstrator has an educational philosophy that they support and is the "theme" for the school. you don't have to be piaget or vygotsky to have an educational philosophy, all educators have one. educators that work under adminstrators have a philosophy of teaching that the adminstrator liked, since they work together. the adminstrator runs the show...fyi. and behind every adminstrator is a lovely panel of board of trustees that can either make your life or make your life miserable.
