why does everyone on this website have something against christians....we are the only religon people are being mean to......why is that? we arent all the same....i would like to know why people are also such racist on Y!Answers....who cares if someone has a different culture than you or is a different color skin......does anyone else feel this way????????

This is a public forum where all sorts of points of view will be encountered. When people are critical of Christians here, they are acting in the same way as they would about any other kind or category of post - just see the posts regarding politics, where different political stripes tear into each other all the time.
Christians have to expect that when they leave a post that is open for all to comment on, they are entering the realm of public discourse, and so their comments may elicit criticism and sometimes hostility.
It is not quite right to expect that just because you have Christian religious questions or answers that you are entitled to any special treament. And remember, just because a Christian is not agreed with does not mean he is persecuted.
As far as the frequency and bluntness of negative comments are concerned, Christians of a certain type have made themselves very prominent in this world and show a good deal of insufferable, self-righteous, anti-science, intolerance, among other things, and people resent this quite a bit.

I think the people that write those question are immature and just doing what they can to aggravate people.If people just ignored them, I think they would go away, but then they would be replaced by other immature people.
Unfortunately, Yahoo really has no mechanism to permanently ban people. I would love to see some of these people being charged as inciting hatred etc, if there is such a thing.
Here they are anonymous and think they can get away with it. I ignore them, figuring they will eventually mature or just give up.

Your silly religion isn't the only one picked on, "princess". You're just being overly sensitive because you really, deep down inside, know what total crap your religion is. As to racism, believe me, if Yahoo wasn't as politically correct as it is, you'd see much more of it than you do. Most people in this world are racist, but they don't bother with Yahoo Answers because some bleeding-heart like yourself would report them and have them removed. Apparently, you'd rather live in a "dream world" than face the "real world".

Because everyone is capable of being intolerant and it isn't everyone. I have always tried to be respectful of everyone's beliefs and there are quite a few questions attacking other religions or groups. There are quite a few against Christians but there are mean questions and answers to every religion.

Absolutely, but the Bible does say that we will be persecuted for our faith, so I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. But it is rather obvious, isn't it? Ever notice all the 'special' privileges for various religions and all the 'restrictions' for Christians. I'm sure it's just FEAR trying to keep us in our place. We know who wins. Hehehehe.

We are only mean to the Christians who either force their ways upon us, or have a jesus stick shoved so far up their ***, they cant comprehend why anybody WOULDN'T believe in god. Its more the way they present themselves over the fact that they are Christian.

Honestly, look around...these same people are not only tearing apart Christians.....they're bashing Muslims, Mormons,Jehovah Witnesses--you name it!!!
it's merely ignorance.
