The only thing that I would judge life after death on is near death experience's.
My own mother died,(she came back am glad to say) but what she told me was that it was so beautiful and so good that no matter how much she loved her kids and her life there was no way did she want to go back, so I guess it must be a lot better than being here.
After a while in this state she saw her mother who told her, her family needed her and she had to go back, which she did and found herself back in her body in really bad pain.
It seems that almost all near death experiences are similar to this, I think its the closest we on earth will ever know about the afterlife.
As Steve Martin's character said in the 1992 Movie "Leap of Faith" Death's a breeze. Ever hear someone come back to complain?
Anyone thinking about suicide ignore the above.

You know when you close your eyes in quietness and just feel ?
I think life after this is just a consciousness of being without the hassle of a body to deal with.

i believe that heaven may or may not be a physical place. instead i raise the possibility that it is a state of mind. what makes you happy? who do you love and care about? i believe your own personal heaven is in your own mind. people who you want to see and people who want to see you are able to. the other people are just gone. away from all your thoughts. the same goes for anything for which you regret. it will be wonderful. like your own giant, beautiful, unbreakable bubble.
