hey has anyone else had to change timing chain 2 times in under 70,000? this is my second time changing it first time was under 40,000 please help!!

r u changing yourself or mechanic? make sure changing the tensioner, gears, and chain is tight also depends how car is driven

Chain? You didn't say if it broke or it was stretched?

Chains don't usually break, they stretch. If something is causing an overstress condition. It would mean that the tension is too tight or the crankshaft harmonic balancer is defective. Torsional vibration may stress the cam chain.

sounds like you are getting a bad set of gears and chain.you should get at least 100,000 miles on a new chain

shouldn't happen sounds like installation not correct tension whatever. Also bad product not up to the standard required.

What kind of vehicle? & What size engine (I hope that it is not a 2.4L)? What other repairs have been done?
