I'd go with both like illistrating my own book.

then why don't you just do both. if you have a passion for them both just go for. thats kind of what im doing only im writting a script and im picking clothes for them to wear if this script ever becomes a movie. you should click on my name to see the name of my script and see if you think its a good idea or not.

That's neat that you want to do both. I'd rather be an author. An author has more direct control on what the audience gets to experience. Just like with music, art can be interpreted many ways and the artist or musician doesn't always have the level of control over how his product is interpreted.

Author definately. The appreciation lasts longer for writers than artists. Artists, musical ones, die out within time. Painters don't get famous until they're dead. An author can go a long way in his/her life and get many things achieved in many fields.

1) I love reading and writing. It's my most desired career anyhow.
2) I'm not overly artistic
3) More people remember authors than artists, not counting the ones who're really dead and famous.

I'm good at writing and i'm ok at art, so I would go with the famous author, I would write books like how Lisi Harrison writes the clique books, I love those books, i've read every single one!!! I'm waiting for dial L for loser to come out in august. I wish I was like dylan (Skinny, I think I'm fat but everyone says I'm skinny) massie (beautiful, I get asked out a lot but I think I'm ugly) claire (from florda, blonde, I'm brunett) Alicia (rich, (I kinda am, I get 600 dollars from my dad every month my parents are divorced and bigger boobs (I'm a cup and shes c cup))and Kristen (smart, I kinda am, I fail some things sometimes, but I get a few a's) I write a lot, (like in this awnser) so I would like to be the famous author. It took me 3 mins. to write this!!! I type fast!!!
