i know the settings are wrong but i can't see the screen to fix it. Is there a way to reset the whole thing?

it doesn't have a disk in it. i was trying to connect my usb cable and switched some settings around on the actual playstation.

Might have a scratched laser disc it what it seems and only way to repair it is to get a new one and put it in.But also might be dirty as hell.What I do is take it apart and take a cotton swab and a cotton ball and clean it out good

might be that your TV is PAL and the PS is NTSC.... did it work before? Try a different TV (one that does both PAL and NTSC)

go to the pawn shop and sell it then buy a new one!
