how do i tell my mom i want a boyfriend wehn she said i was too young.. and she sed that i ahve a whole future ahead of mee.. but.. i want a boyfriend and i got my eye on sumone.. shood i so it behind her back or juss tell her ?? she probaly wont yell at me.. i told my mom that my cousin which is the same exact age as me has a boyfriend and she sed oh soo what's wrong with that. i said.. nothing i was just sayin .. soo it looked like she really didnt care! SO HOW DO I TELL HER I WANT ONE AND THAT.. I THINK I AM READY BECAUSE I WILL BE GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL IN 2 YEARSZ AND I HAVE GRADUATION AND EVERYTHING NEXT YEAR IN 8TH GRADE!!! HELP! PLEASEE!

i have the same problem and question..i just said so mom when do you think is an appropriate age to have a bf...and if she would say 16 i may be like really thats too old how about 13 cause soo many people go out at that age.....than see what she says......if that dioesnt work wait till the boy asks you out....than say i have to think about than go home and ask your mom to see if its okay...she isnt going toget mad that he asked u out....she will think you are responsible for asking and probally will let you go out with him....hope this helped!

look i'm in 9th grade, and my advise might be helpful. Sometimes i too feel like having a flick, but then i think that there won't be any future and i don't think i would date until i want a future. i really don't suggest dating for fun.

Don't do it behind her back. Tell her you think you are old enough to start dating and agree to certain restrictions for bargaining points (eg. only in groups, or whatever)
