Or at least being second in the world cup? Everybody is either for Germany (Which Italy beat 3-0 just weeks before the World cup games) or Brazil or Argentina... Is everybody here who is not from Germany, Brazil, Argentina, or Australia wanting for Italy to advance to the Finals?

The Italians have no honour the only way the can win is by cheating and that is how they have always played at a young age they are taught to dive to attract fouls and even ridiculous penalty shot like today.

I don't know anyone against italy winning but I don't think their players seem of the same standard as some of the players from other nations. I think also the fact that the top teams in Serie A were accused of cheating has sort of scarred italian football and the rest of the world *might* see them as inferior for this reason.
I personally do not think italy are inferior and their 1-0 win was well fought today (even if the penalty decision was wrong!)

I don't want Italy to win because:
1. It would mean my own teams lose (Argentina and Germany).
2. I really don't think they're playing as well as they should be.
If they improve and become worthy of the Cup, then I won't have a problem with them winning (Hey, it'd be a nice change from Brazil).

Because Brazil is a better team. Then again, Portugal had a fantastic game against the Netherlands yesterday. But personally, I'm cheering for the U.K.

I love Italy! Anybody except for Brazil winning will be ok with me..although they probably will...they are just that good!
