Probably Goblet of Fire. It was the first time Harry confronted evil head-on, i.e. the death of Cedric. GoF served as a catalyst for Harry's realization that his task to defeat Voldemort wouldn't be easy, and I think said task finally became reality for not only Harry, but the entire wizarding world. I also like how the characters really mature in this book, Ron with his jealousy over Harry's fame, Hermione finally being seen as a girl, etc. Plus! It's filled with action and I love Moody :)

HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban because Sirius is awesome and hot, as is Lupin (He's suppooooosed to be hot, but the damn movie made him uggie...). The story is really neat, and I really like the time travelling part, as well as the part where Hermione slaps Draco, and where Harry meets Buckbeak.
The Patronus Charm is also neat.
I also really like HP and the Order of the Phoenix... but the beginning is boring. I more like the part with the Dumbledore's Army and when Fred and George wreak havoc on the school and Umbridge. XD

My favorite is Order Of The Phoenix. It is the first book where Harry is finally having to deal with real adult emotions. He has no idea why, but it's still there.

I like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, with the introduction of Luna Lovegood, who is my favorite charcter.

I like them all, but I would have to say my favorite is the first one. It's all about Harry learning he's a wizard and all the wonderful things his life is now about.
