You need to ask a doctor or better yet see one. You can get false negative tests and you also can still have a light period or discharge when you are pregnant. If you really deep down think you are then there must be a good reason why you think that. There is only one way to find and that is to see a doctor. I have also heard of women have a brown discharge and had a miscarriage so very early on that they didn't even know they were pregnant at the time until they told their doctor and found out that they had been. You could wait till your next period date rolls around and see what happens then before you go to the doctor. Good Luck!!

Most likely you are not pregnant. Most at home pregnancy tests are more accurate than birth control is effective. Essentially, you're looking at about a 97 to 99% accuracy rate. Also, you should remember that home pregnancy tests can give false negative results, however you WILL NOT get a false positive. The only thing I can tell you is that if you've taken more than one... you most likely are not pregnant. Menstrual cycles are never 100% perfect. Any changes at all in your daily routine, from diet all the way to sexual activity, could effect your cycle. You should consider the possibility that if you spotted and had a light period you MAY have been pregnant and had a miscarriage before the fetus was developed enough to cause a major problem. This happens frequently among women and most never realize that it happened... but if this IS what happened then the tests would come back negative since you are no longer pregnant. If you're still concerned about it though you should schedule an appointment with your doctor.

Your not pregnant, your just freaking out. Use this as a lesson, and next time use some sort of birth control method and you wont have to freak out thinking your pregnant. The home kit pregnancy tests are accurate, it's the same ones the docs use when you visit them for a check up, but if you still want to put your mind at ease, ask them to do the blood test.

Well you're not pregnet of you had your period. But I have heard of a rare case where a lady was pregnet but didn't know it because she had her periods then went to the hospital complaining of extreme stomach pains and they brought her in, then she said she had to use the bathroom and a nurse helped her there then when she was done she helped her get off and the nurse looked in the tolet and saw a baby. But it's really rare for that to happen, but if you still think your pregnet go see a doctor. Your period could just not be regular yet, sometimes it take a while to become totally regular.

Honestly...I came up NOT pregnant on two EPT's and one First Response....would you like me to say "Hello" to my nine year old daughter for you?
The best way of checking for pregnancy is a doctor's visit, whether it's your OB or your General Practicioner.
For what it's worth...I KNEW I was pregnant. That's why I kept on and then went to the OB. Turned out I was right. Sometimes you just know.
Good luck!

If you would be under 6 weeks, then don't worry about it. They won't even do a blood test that early. Wait until you are about 7 weeks, and then take another HPT.

The best thing you could do if you truely feel you are is go in to your doctor and get a blood test done. Most blood tests can detect the hormone level even if it is really low.. but I would go in and get it checked out....

get a blood test done and be done with it. there's no point in stressing yourself out. its best to find out now so that you can either go on with your life if your test comes back negative or make a decision about what you're going to do if its positive.

Sound like you need the answers from a doctor. Or your cycle is changing. How old are you? Could be the first stages of menopause.
