NO everyone is complain about this rather than question why the Aussie player Slidetackled inside his own box knowing that there is a great chance of a foul being called against him.

No - they just stunk up the field today! I'm sorry to say it, but there was NO WAY the Aussies would've made it all the way to the finals - NONE! They are a good team and I cheered for them, but they're not one of the "powerhouse" soccer teams!
