What is the most annoying thing that a customer will do that will make u grit ur teeth?
N if ur feeling spunky, what if the name of the restaurant this happened at?

When you give them the check and they say they didnt order that. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEARD THIS? GRRRR!!!

Now I've never been a waitresses but some of my friends have and they thought the annoying thing that a customer would do that will make them grit their teeth was not leaving a big enough tip.

hey i'm not waitress or a waiter but i know for a fact that they always give you a big enough tip they only give 5$ what are these people thiking just giving me 5 dollsrs lol and i hate this i see it all the time kids making a big mess parents say oh leave it the waiter will clean it up! i hate it i say damn it's ur child u clean it up 4 them or they clean it up i hope i dont get a restaraunt job!

I worked at a coffee shop for a while, and the most annoying question I ever got was "Do you have anything without coffee?" First of all, read the menu. Second of all, if you don't wan't coffee, I'd suggest NOT going to a place whose sign says COFFEE in HUGE freaking letters! The name of the place was Great Lakes Java, an independently owned shop. I wouldn't reccommend going there, the owner is a jerk.

I always hated it when people would suck down 2 or 3 drinks in front of you to see you get refills. Hate that! I also hated children coming in with parents that were given the salt and pepper shakers and sugar cattie to play with. They never tip well! Or my personal favorite the one thing that always guaranteed that you were getting a "sucktacular" tip was " we will need separate checks". Thank you for letting me vent I feel much better now! :)
Oh and when there is a wait to get a table and some wench rolls in with a starving kid and expects to get a table before someone who has been waiting longer. Like its your fault that they starved there child because they wanted to wait to feed there kid. I call that a personal problem!

I worked at a restaurant in Connecticut, right near the Massachusetts border and it was, for a while, my job to call out orders as they were ready for customers to grab them (not exactly a high class joint). I got a bunch of compliments on the way my voice sounds. The problem? I got them from everyone BUT girls in my "target demographic" we'll call it. Old women, gay men... it got creepy and didn't garner me any sympathy from my friendly neighborhood co-workers. God, I hated that job.

for them to leave everything on the table for the waiter/watress to clean up...including busboys,host/hostess. When you go out to eat you act like adults not children. OH 1 more thing...if you do act like children...if you are an adult...leave a good tip as best you can...Please and Thank You.

I have never been, but I have been witnessed to many rude people. This one guy actually had the nerve to make a rude comment to the waitress at Perkins in Madison, WI. He asked her if there was any food left. ( under his breath and to his cronies) She was overweight. I got up and poured water over his head. And told him to grow up. LOL the old fart was so embarrassed that he left. And gave her a 10.00 tip.

Sending back a New York strip steak four times and finally serving it burned and the guy loved it. What a waste of good meat!!

When they bang money on the counter expecting to get served faster...It just makes me take my time
or
when you ask if they need sugar or cream for their coffee and they say yes, don't tell me how many or anything. so You ask how many and they ignore you so you give them 2 of each then they ask rudely for 2 more sugar because you were supposed to know what they want
or
when they point at what they want expecting you to know what they're pointing at.
or
when you ask "is that everything?" they say yes, you take their money then they ask for something else.
oh wow I could go on forever! I think I need to find a new job. Thanks for the question it was a great vent session.
