Believe it or not, earlier in the same show, he chastised people who didn't treat the victims of 9/11 with respect. Does this mean we should only respect the victims who share our personal views?
I'm confused, because O'Reilly is my moral compass. (he says sarcastically)

All the guy said was that he didn't think the Bush administration had done enough to prevent 9/11. Really. That was it.

do you know what is amazing... conservatives can see though the bias of your site, yet say O'Riley is unbias?

It's really crazy, if they have enough logic to see through one person's bias, but no enough to see through bias on their own side... O'Riley doesn't even try to hide it...

I mean I can see Franken and Moore are bias... it's blatantly obvious... yet I don't think it's even as obvious as Coulter, Rush, Hannity and O'Riley... oh well, I guess they have the rose colored glasses on...

Let's assume for argument's sake that the link you posted is a true and correct copy partial transcript. Even if it is true, it makes you a liar. You make that claim that "All the guy said was that he didn't think the Bush administration had done enough to prevent 9/11. Really. That was it."

Wrong. The guy signed an advertisement that compared the US to terrorist. Whether or not the guy's father perished in 9/11 doesn't change the fact that he is a moron. And Bill O'Reilly is well within his first amendment rights to disrespect a moron. If this event really did take place, I say the moron got what he deserved.

OK Iglk, I challenged you to provide proof and you did. I read the transcripts and watched the interview, and encourage all to do so.
I may have come off on defending O'Reilly on my first response and I admit that I do agree with a lot of his opinions, but certainly not all. I must admit that he did come off as the south end of a horse here, but no more so than the ultra lefties like Al Franklin frequently do. Having said that if you take the time to read the interview Glick was throwing out a lot BS propaganda as well.
At any rate people like O'Reilly are a sign of the times and our pathetic need for entertainment. I compliment you for taking the time to back up your claims with the websites, even though I disagree with you conclusions, at least you werent spreading myths and urban legends.(www.scopes.com is a great place to check emails and posts that you get and are not sure if they are true or not)
Thanks again for your intelligent, reasoned discourse on IM

I challenge you folks to watch Bill O'Reilly and you'll get the
fair news, not biased like ABC, NBC, CBS. That guy must have
really said something outlandish or O"Reilly would not have
wanted him off the show. You'll notice he does put people on his
show that don't necessarily agree with him. Isn't that the way
it should be? Ann Coulter is right if you see why she said what
she said. She was only referring to four women (who's husbands
died) who are now seeking publicity for themselves and no other
reason. The other hundreds of wives disagree with those four
but nobody cares about their side of the story, eh?

Bill O'Reilly has said so many stupid things that it's hard to imagine why he's still on the air. (he must have alot of stock in the network). It's a sad day when reporting the news means we have to listen to the radical views of others. Why can't they just report the news, and let us make up our own minds (which we will do anyway) about what is & isn't true?

He is a pig. Remember when this came out? Mackris was going to go public with the tapes, then all of a sudden...

Controversial American broadcaster BILL O'REILLY has settled his phone sex harassment case...

The FOX NEWS anchor has settled with former producer ANDREA MACKRIS, who claimed O'Reilly made a series of explicit phone calls to her, advised her to use a vibrator and told her about his sexual fantasies involving her.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, and neither side admits any wrongdoing.

Didn't see that happen, and it's hard to believe that even O'Reilly would do a thing like that. The guy must have said something real wrong, or been mentally impaired by some substance.

Bill O'Reilly loves to argue his point,..and for him to have said that...there has to be more to this story...what else did the other guy say...not that O'Reilly should have the right to throw him off HIS SHOW...but theres 2 sides to every story..I dont agree with anyone if I dont feel they are right...So if O'Reilly didnt like my answer...he could kiss my azz

Bill O'Reilly depends upon RATINGS to stay on-the-air. If you are controversal, you get good ratings, and stay on-the-air. The truth does not keep you on-the-air.People want to hear things that are upsetting and disturbing. Do not listen to people like Bill O'Reilly. They are a waste of your time.

Well since Bill Oreilly has proved to me that he presents both sides on issues and your question appears to be written one sided and slanted, I would feel more comfortable reading the full transcript of the show before passing judgment. Fair and balanced?

Don't listen to O'Reilly. As a matter of fact use your own judgement and don't listen to people who are over opinionated. There's nothing more scary then a fool with a cause.
