What the best eyeliner to use for the rim of the eye that will last?

Most regular liners work but won't last. Which brand works the best? Should I use liquid eyeliner?

You don't need a liquid eyeliner. Mary Kay's eyeliners last all day long. They're not like regular pencils, the makeup glides on and lasts all day without smudging.

For liquid liners, try MAC's gel eyeliners. They are very smudge-proof and dont rub off very easily. Out of all the liquid liners I've ever tried (and I've tried many many many of them), I find that this works the best and is probably the easiest to apply. They also come in lots of cute and funky colors to choose from. I used the Laura Mercier one for a long time, but when I discovered the MAC one, I quit using the other one because I find that it wore off way sooner. If you're talking about the inner rim of your eye, dry pencil liners work best. I like Rimmel's also. Sometimes you have to draw back and forth a few times to build up the depth of color you want.

Revlon wet/dry eyeliner. Works well.
Or NYC eyeliner, it's cheap and lasts.

Personally, I like Rimmel pencils. They are inexpensive and have staying power.
