I found a spider in my house and I want to identify it. Is there some website where I can discribe it or something to help me identify it? I don't want to see different kinds, I just want to enter its characteristics and then get a result.
Help please, I have it in a jar and it looks like it is going to eat me:)

Don't be afraid of spiders - except for the ones that are venomous to humans. Most of them are your friends, as they rid your area of a multitude of insects - including disease carriers and major pests.
Here are a few sites for identification. I was not sure where you lived, so I included different parts of the world.
If it is not venomous to humans, let it go in the garden.

I would just do an internet search for spider, state you live in.
Theres a lot of websites that have this information on them.

Only spiders I care about are dead ones. Squish it and move on.
