after swimming...why does my skin feel tight? and dry looking?

Yep, chlorine. The best thing to do is to rinse off after you've been swimming and apply lotion- probably an aftersun lotion since that will help solve two problems.

The chlorine is what's drying your skin out. There are a number of lotions and oils I've seen at a local nutrition store that should be able to help.These lotions are rich in assorted vitamins and other helpful compounds. Perhaps you'll find something similar.

cos the chlorine in the water dried your skin out. put some hydrating moisturiser on. you'll be fine!

Because all the chlorine but use lotion, lots and lots of lotion after you shower, it will go away... bath and body works stuff is great!
