Depends on what you will be using your computer for. I would think that technology has slowed enough now that your computer won't be out of date tomorrow, or anytime soon. There are some still out there that are running on old pentium ones, and win95 believe it or not. Besides, you can always upgrade later, ie. hard drive, memory, bus speed, motherboard, etc. I wouldn't sweat it dude, sounds as if you made a sound choice.

3.2 GHz is good yes but what asrock motherboard? having information about what chipset the motherboard is running goves a better indication of what it can do.

As for the make itself, Asrock, i think thier absolute crap. Some last while others will pack up after their warrenties expired (the cheaper ones anyway).

I say no. Why? I use only AMD. My AMD 2.0ghz CPU will outperform your p4 3.2 any time (assuming the other hardware matches [vid cards and ram]) but it sounds like you got a nice system
