She claims to love scary movies, but I know better. The last one we watched together was The Grudge (scared the heck out of both of us!)... so I'm looking for movies without the blood and gore. Any suggestions?
~ She likes IT by Stephen King, so I just got Cujo and Carrie, but I was looking for something a little more updated, as those are from the "olden" days (as she puts it!!) LMAO!!!

Psycho is good, the original is best but the remake if you want modern. The best non gore ones I can think of are old ones too! Psychological thrillers like The birds. Maybe The Ring.

Almost every movie nowadays relies on gore, blood, and guts. The Sixth Sense if she hasn't seen it.

if you want a one time shock value ghost ship is a good story with many twists. Also if you lie stephen king then how about silver bullet with gary busey

I totally agree w/ the sixth sense but the village SUCKED.
