That's a good question, It is so sad that half of this country has closed down drive In theaters. The new generation are miss out on something that people 30 and over did every summer. Drive In theaters are now available in selected cities and towns. And yes it's fun to go to the Drive In I hope you get to go cause there are still some out there!

Last night in Fayetteville Arkansas we saw Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars. Last week at the Tower Drive in on Poteau Oklahoma we saw Over the Hedge and X-men 3. both are about 45 minutes from our house and it is a great place to take the kids. I love it!

My very first date in 1963 was to a drive in movie. We saw Gone with the WIND, the night was eerily windy, and the screen blew over. It was the talk of the town for several years!!! i LOVE THE DRIVE-IN, STILL, TO THIS DAY. We still have one in Kearney, Nebraska, that runs during the summer. And they still have the same commercial stuff with the SAME LAME FADED PICTURES OF POPCORN AND HOT DOGS as they did in the 60s. Someone semi-famous made a movie about drive-in movie theaters and filmed a lot of it at our drive in. Long live the back row of drive-ins! aah, I still remember that first kiss.

on 6/6/6 we created our own drive-in.We hooked a projector to a DVD player and speakers on a card table in the yard.We blew up air mattresses, made popcorn and watched part 1,2,&3 of the Omen.It looked AWESOME on the side of the house! Sounds corny but really was fun and a nice alternative, considering that theres not many drive-ins around anymore.
