My friends call me gay because I have posters of girls on my wall and im obviously a girl. What is wrong with having my favorite actresses on my wall. Its not like I do anything nasty to them. I just thought that it would be ok, so thats why I'm asking you guys. Please help.

theres nothing wrong with having your favorite role model, or celebrity, or your favorite whoever up on your wall. it doesnt make you gay, it just means you have your own sense of style, and dont enjoy looking at blank walls as much.
you know what? they must not really be your friends if all they can think to do for fun is call you gay. it sounds like you need some better friends.

No, you're just young. It is not uncommon for young girls to have posters of people they admire -- often pretty actresses or models -- on their walls. It's a way to imagine what you want to look like when you grow up.
They aren't nude, are they? That would be a different matter . . .

Absolutely not! People who inspire us with talent, and beauty can only inspire us to be our best. Keep those posters, and realize that sometimes "friends opinions", if taken to heart, can be very suppressing and destructive."Peer pressure" can leave a youth in question of thier own values, sad but true, and I've yet to learn where such ignorance comes from. Friends don't say or do things they wouldn't want done or said to them.

no, you're not gay...and if your "friends" call you gay and it bothers you and you've told them....then they are not real friends....real friends dont care if you have posters of girls on your wall and real friends dont give a damn if your gay or not...there isnt anything wrong with having your favorite actresses on your wall ....it just means that you respect and look to them as sort of roll models.....and its absolutely okay to have a pic of ur role model on ur wall....

Of course you're not gay just because of that. When I was younger I had all kinds of pictures of sports dudes on my walls... And I still like women :)

Of course not. There is nothing wrong at all with posting pictures of the same sex on your walls. By you putting the same sex on your wall means that you are comfortable with your sexuality. I used to put Brittney on my wall, then I moved and lost the picture. We put people on our walls because we admire them. If your friends are telling you you are gay because you have pics on your wall, it seems to me that they are young and immature still. Pay no mind to them. Keep your pics on your wall!!! :)
