Either vacuum them as dry as possible with a shop vac and leave the car outside with the windows down or the doors open. It may take a few days to full dry. If you need to drive it use a large bath towel folded over as a pad between you and the seat. This will also force any access water into the towel.

If you feel up to it and it seems that more than just the seats are wet, open the car door and remove the plastic sill plate, once removed the carpet is just held down with plastic tabs. Pull the carpet up and ensure that it is not wet underneath. This will cause mold and a very pungent odor later on if not taken care of.

If you own a dehumidifier for like a basement, set it in the back seat and run it to absorb that much more moisture.

If you have a large fan, set it on the dry seat and let it blow across the wet seat while doors are open or at least windows. This will help speed up the drying process some.

Do not apply heat to dry the seats as this will only dry out the foam cores of the seats and also can make any stitching brittle within a year. Air drying is the best, its what the professionals do.

The seats nor carpet are not ruined. Detail shops use more water on the interior than you would care to know and way more than any rain soaked seat got.

Good luck on the drying job!

Wet Car Seats

Remove as much of the water as possible, soak it up with towels. Then open both doors, set up electric fans on both sides of the car pointed toward the wet seat. Let them run for 24-48 hours directly on the seat(s). It will dry nicely and will not smell.

You will need to soak up the water and leave the windows down on the next dry days. It will most likely smell. Use the sprays they are the strongest.

Get a wet/dry vacuum and vac the seats, this will remove the water. Open all doors or windows and let air dry.

Good Luck

get some towels, press down for 5 minutes, soak up as much as possible, then keep the windows slightly open overnite, and keep the car in the sunlight

Lots of Hair Dryers! They even come cordless!
You can also take it to a professional. But once mildew is in, its hard as hell to get it out.
