you may need a cat scan then..MRI will not show a "slipped disc" you need a c.t.

Well, the MRI will show how severe the damage is and where exactly.

If possible, don't have any back surgery done! You'll have everlasting problems as the neighboring discs will be affected.

Other solution: Go for a one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect is, that the pressure on your discs is distributed much better - so the herniated disc may recover completely.

Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far.

my husband hurt his back last year at work. We thought it was his back. but it turned out that it was his pelvis. his Sacerial illiac joint. was hurt. if they don't find out anything on the MRI you may ask your MD about the chance it could be this. As for the MRI I don't know what you need help with. just sit back and relax the tec will take care of the rest.

MRI piece of cake. Put the ear plugs in instead of the music. Breathe normal relax and think of your favorite person living out your wildest fantasy.

I just had back surgery 7 months ago and I don't want to talk about aching backs. Good luck though.

I njured my back also,only I have bulging discs from lifting when I shouldn't have What do you need to Know??

wELL MAKE SURE WORKER COMPENSATION PAYS FOR it and check the rules about time off with pay to and keep going to the doc until you get well
