2001 WCW PPV Sin, when Sid tried to jump from the turnbuckle did he really break his leg because it looks so fake, and Scott Steiner did a parody of the incident by "breaking" the leg of a security guard. From the way the leg "broke" it snapped sideways and kind of folded under him. Is that possible or was it a work?

Have you ever had your leg broken?

Yeah he really broke his leg,
this is why you didn't see him
returning to any wrestling
organization. Yes wrestling's
fake, but wrestlers do get injured.

When your leg snaps in half, all
that is left is your skin and muscle,
and that's why it looks so floppy and
rubbery.

Here's the Video:

Compare it to these non fake sports:
Soccer:

Muy Thai:

When it comes to Scott Steiner, the writers backstage
always work a real life situation into a story line.

Look at Matt Hardy, Edge (Adam Copeland), and Lita ( Amy Dumas). The affair was serious business, and they created it into a story line.

Look at Eddie Guerrero, he died in a split second, and they
still used him in their story line. If it brings them money and
viewers, the wrestling industry does not care.

lol have you seen the video? try to bend you leg like that and see what happens. if it was a work they wouldnt have stopped the match. its possible to bend your leg like that only if the bone is broken. the only other time i saw a match stopped in the middle was when the 1-2-3 Kid (now known as X-pac) missed a moonsault in a match against the smoking gunns and broke his neck. and no sid vicious did not die in 1979, he's still alive doing indy shows. wikipedia is the worst place to get info from, some colleges dont even accept that as a source when u do research papers now

Oh god yes, I remember watching that.. that was not a pleasent thing to see at all... I never felt worse for an individual then I did Sid Vicious right there. It sucks that he was a great performer too... BQ: To further answer, yes he has recovered enough that he has wrestled on rare occasions since the injury.. he has performed twice this year in fact according to my knowledge.

Sid Vicious died in 1979, so I'm pretty sure he didn't break his leg in 2001.
