Werehunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. The novels in this series are Dragonswan,Nightplay,Stroke of midnight,Unleash the night.

King Lycaon of Arcadia had no idea that when he wed, his precious, beloved queen wasn’t human. She was born to the cursed Apollite race and was destined to die in the heart of her youth... at age twenty-seven.It wasn’t until her last birthday when Lycaon watched his beloved die horribly of old age that he realized the two sons she had born him would follow her to an early grave. He was a sorcerer and he was determined that no one would steal his sons away from him. And so he set about using his magick to elongate the lives of his wife’s people. Capturing them, he magically spliced their essence with various animals who were known for their strength: Bears, panthers, leopards, hawks, lions, tigers, jackals, wolves and even dragons. As he blended the animal with the psychically enhanced Apollites, two creatures were created. One that held a human heart. One that held the animal’s. Each one possessed traits of the other. No longer human, no longer animal, it was a bastard hybrid of the two species.

Those who walked as men and who held human hearts were termed Arcadians after their Lycaon’s people. Those who held animal hearts were termed Katagaria. The Katagaria were born as animals and lived as animals, yet once they reached puberty, when the magical powers were unlocked by their hormones, they would be able to become human– at least externally. Their animal hearts would always govern their actions.Likewise, the Arcadians were born as humans and lived as humans until their puberty brought with it their magic and their ability to shift into animal form. There was constant war between Arcadians and Katagaria.

'Fool Moon' ,the second book in the Dresden book series is about werewolves.Harry Dresden, the only professional wizard in Chicago is in werewolf territory – actually, as Harry finds out, not just werewolf territory, but werewolves, hexenwolves, lycanthropes and loup garou territory. (The book explains the difference!).Some are killers, while others are killers with a difference.Still other werewolves use their powers for good.

Hunter's Moon,Moon's web by Cathy Clamp & C. T. Adams.Tony Giodone is a killer for hire, a hit man for the mob and up to year in half ago human. Now he is a werewolf with problems. Tony's newest target is too high profile to ice and he is not even sure he wants to. However, that is not the end to his problems. Tony has made some powerful enemies who have decided they want a piece of his hide.

Money has not solved Suzi Quentin's problems; if anything, it has made her life worst. Her family wants it all but they don't want to lose Suzi not when they can use her. With Tony and help from the Family, she slowly begins to live again. Being part of the Family is never easy; you follow the rules, take orders, and you don't leave a trail. Those things he can control, expect when the moon is full things get difficult. Now, he has a mess to clean up, an attractive woman in tow and more were's then he wants to know about after their hides.

Read Pride and Prejudice! It seems stuffy and the language is kinda hard to understand, and its set a long time ago so there's to romance-romance but its a really good book about manners in 19th century england.
Ok, so that makes it sound really boring. I had to read it for school and hated the idea of it until I got started and got into it. Elizebeth benett sounds really geeky in the beginning, but you can relate to her. Reading it feels like you're going back in time. But whatever you do , DONT watch the BBC movie it's like 6 hours long and really boring
If you want something lighter, try Agatha Christie. It's fun to try to solve the mysteries, and there's like 60 of them.

Doctor Who books. You still should try other books- to open up your mind. Maybe Anne Rice.
