Hey dude, don't build it up too much. It's best that you get your answers from your parents not a bunch of wierd strangers online. Talking about this with your parents is like overcoming a barrier. If you are really uncomfortable you could ask an old sibling too. But in the end I'd recommend a combo of 1) talking with your parents, and 2) Getting some more information with them, incase they are rusty on their stuff. I remember I thought it was really wierd to talk with my mom about these things but she brought it up so many times now its not awkward at all.

It may be embarrassing, but you will get a lot of nonsense on sites like this with people giving you false information. Try to find someone you can talk too, maybe the sex ed teacher at your school if you have one, or a friends parents. If all else fails, go to your local library.

it is easier to be honest with a perfect stranger because you have no true connection or relationship. you can spill your guts with out having to edit your questions for fear of many issues. therefore, chat away to strangers; however, make sure you ask questions to persons who have an idea or are a bit more wise than the general public. we are not an intelligent nation. also look into the subjects you have questions. do a bit of reseach. read actual medical journals and or coming of age stories. remember truth is stranger than fiction. by the way i always thought one must wear a wife beater and pee inside a woman in order to get a girl pregnant. see what happens when you listen to your friend's older bro. i was eight-ish. remember if you play with it and it feels like it's dragging on the carpet, just play with it one more time and give it a rest. otherwise you may hate life. but enjoy puberty, it's like a natural trip with highs and lows but endorphines and hormones be raging. think of me on your next nut. gotta love fresh boy slime!

Tim,
The way you feel about it is very common. It is a part of growing up and becoming a man. There is really no reason to be embarrassed, but most of us are. We can all relate to this. I'm providing several links below for you to check out. They discuss puberty in boys. You may also find information for girls. I hope this helps.

Good luck young man!

Sincerely,
Terry

Puberty is a big subject and it embarrasses adults too. Go to real referance books for the technical side so you don't get the wrong information. I need more information to answer anything more specific.

Your parents have been there. Talk to them.
On this site there are some real jokers.

nothing to be nervous about ...just a natural process..you gonna grow hair in oyur groin area, armpit, arms, legs and face.....you voice will crack once in awhile until it settles to lower tone. your adam apple will become more apparent. if you masturbate you might start to ejaculate sperm...slight show of muscle in your arms , calf and chest perhaps.....grow taller ..that's all!!

OK, I can understand that but what do you want to talk about. What do you want to know.
