yes, they differ...fashion starts off to the east and travels west...so ny gets the fashion clues first then everyone else follows on, but fashion also changes because everyplace has different weather, which calls for different clothing

Wow princess i think it's soo kool you live in the big apple. Yes fashion do change from state to state because of the weather diffrence. Well Uggs were a hit here in Maryland but it was mostly worn by white people no offense if youre white. But boots in paticular was a major hit especially the ones at payless.

Obviously if it is colder weather people will dress warmer, and vice versa...I live in the North Shore of Illinois, and here women are most seen with hip designer jeans, and so forth. New Yorkers obviously have edgy, trendy style, while people in LA will dress more casual...with a less professional look because they usually live by the oceanfront. Looks resembling cowboys are probably more commonly seen in states such as Arizona, Texas, Alabama, etc., and these are just general statements...

it does vary from state to state, for instance what someone might be waring in NYC can be totally different then someone who lives in kansas or Ohio. Location is the answer, NYC is a big shot place so you can expect the latest wear when it comes out, I'm not saying people in places like Kansas can't be seen wearing the latest new outfits but b/c of their location they are not big on such as fasion

Absolutely. Here in Houston, its teensy dresses and lots of sandals. And the women here always wear makeup.
I've always heard men say that the women in the South, and in particular, Houston, are really pretty. I never believed it until I went up north and realized it was true.
I think it is because it is always so hot hear that we have to wear clothes that are not as heavy. And it is more tropical so the women are more tanned. Who knows what it is but there is a style here; kind of a preppy, floral style.
